Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield charged me in January for a policy that should never have been billed. I spoke with multiple Anthem representatives, and several confirmed this was a mistake and that I would be refunded. That refund was never issued. Anthem also failed to cancel that policy, which somehow remains active, while I am simultaneously paying a separate premium for another policy. Anthem BC/BS denies my medication because they do no want to cover it due to not being cost effective so they deny my doctor's appeal based on some "so called expert" that absolutely knows nothing about my medical care. My doctor has been providing my medical care for over 30 years and things have been improving. But Anthem would rather jeopardize my health to save a few dollars but in the end could cost them 10s of thousands of dollars for unnecessary health care costs. Is this insane or what. If I could give zero stars I would. Received a plan through employer so had to cancel plan purchased on market place. 2 hours on hold to cancel a plan. Go with anybody else if you can
Horrible service. I paid for health insurance and it’s not active. However when I called spent 4 hours on hold for the person to tell me I have 3 plans & that her system was down so could not help me. She said would call me back and never did. I called back spent another 4 hours on the phone just to be hung up on again Worst insurance ever.
The insurance premium invoices available through the portal don't have the information my HRA requires for reimbursement, which means I have to, monthly, wade through their terrible customer service robots to finally reach someone who can send me the documentation I need. Today I was on hold for 45 minutes only to be told that the robot had connected me to the wrong department, and I was sent back to the beginning.
