A voir absolument. Bonne organisation. Guide attentionné. Merci.
Absolutely gorgeous area. Due to this being on Navajo land, you must hire a Navajo guide. They are very often rude to eachother (the guides), and the entire experience feels like you're on a conveyor belt. You can take pretty photos, or have an awesome guide that can take them for you, but everything is super rushed. Cool to experience, but hard to justify or recommend based off the price and experience of it.
The location is shared with other tour groups and it filled up fast (we had a 10:40 am tour). You need to board trucks to get to the canyon and we had 5 trucks (60 people) that left together. I initially thought it would be a cattle rush through the 100 yard canyon - I was worried! When we arrived, each truck load (12 people) were led on their own tour - which was great! Our tour guide was wonderful and told us how to adjust camera settings and take pictures. He also took pictures of us and the canyon. We love our pics!!
amazing place to visit. the time zone can get confusing. just look up phoenix time to keep track of it. in reality, you can just go to the entrance and get the next tour. highly recommended!
