I saw her for a year or two when I was a teenager, way back in the 1990s. I was too young and ignorant to be capable of really getting anything out of therapy, but she made a heroic effort to try to help me. She was inclusive of LGBTQ+ people at a time and in a city where that wasn't yet very common. I didn't appreciate her enough at the time and I will always feel guilty about that.
If i could, I'd rate her lower. Back when i was her patient, she told me nobody would care if I committed suicide, that my mom didn't love me, and that I should just do it. So I made a very champion attempt at killing myself. My mom tried to report her to the Board, but of course it was her forked tongue against our nobody names, and they believed her and actually kept me in the adolescent unit longer for "trying to set her up".
