I brought my dad in recently because his bloodwork indicated that he needed potassium. The RGH ER nurses were completely unable to get an accurate potassium reading, despite blood being drawn at least three times by two different nurses. The first draw was badly hemolyzed, according to the nurse who drew it, but it was tested anyway. Of course the results came back 2 points higher than a blood test done at another lab the day before. Another blood draw and test was ordered, but apparently that was hemolyzed, too, because the... read more

If I could give it, zero stars, I would. I went there for a sleep problem was brought into the ER. They examined me head to toe every square inch of my body, but somebody there decided I needed to go to behavioral health. They told me I should voluntarily go I said no so they put me in mandatory. They brought me in To the locked ward, then the two female nurses (I am male)strip searched me and poked at my body and denied me my clothing afterwards. I now have PTSD from this nightmare and they don’t care.I Will never again go ... read more

STAY AWAY I went into Behavioral Health two female nurses stripped me naked and searched me (a male)in the dark of night. I wasn’t arguing fighting or anything just sitting there sleeping. They woke me up to take my clothes off. Apparently humiliation is step number one it makes patients much more submissive. They kept me hostage for eight days until I was released on good behavioral behavior . I now have flashbacks ,I wish I was lying but I have PTSD

Like to do admin work? As a patient you are expected to do their admin work. You'll find that when you call to refill prescriptions they tell you to request via your pharmacy, but they simply do not respond to the pharmacy requests. You will be expected to communicate the doctor's expectations to the admin staff. If you mess this up they will stop filling your prescriptions for something as simple as levothyroxine until your next appointment, yet they are too over whelmed to schedule appointments any earlier than ~9 months... read more

On services at ER...my last visit was two years ago 2020. I fear going to that ER after that. The intake nurse was arrogant and lacked compassion. It was all like any regular business. When I was taken in. I had to endure the torture of a nurse who after many attempts to take the vein, she refused to call for help. She tried in both arms and I had to refuse any for.more attempts in my hand. I requested another nurse so when the other one came, my nurse blamed me for not being able to take my vein... Hmm. The new one had to d... read more

3/18/2022...Another negative experience at this hospital. I gave 3 stars because nurses and Tech staff are still good professionals. My problem began when I went to get reports of procedure at records dept. Well I guess those nice people I had known for so many years must have retired. I got used to true competent people. The new person there is a disaster. She is not only incompetent but her attitude won't help either. She didn't seem motivated enough to help me as a pts. and showed an unfriendly & arrogant attitude with me ... read more

My husband and I had covid testing done today at this facility. I was in and out, but because my husband had mild symptoms, he was forced to see their physician's asst, even though there was no medical need to do so. This would have all been fine if he had been able to wait outside. Instead they had him wait for more than an hour in a small room where people likely to have covid had been. Why not just have him wait in the car? This is a total lack of concern for the safety of patients. I have not been to any medical offices ... read more

I received my Moderna Covid shots at Rockville Hospital. Every member of the staff I encountered, on both occasions was friendly, professional and very helpful. This morning, after receiving my second shot, I was walking (with a walker) down a long corridor, trying to make my way to the parking lot. I came up Greg, a member of the Environmental Services Department. He dropped what he was doing, and quickly found me a wheelchair. He then very cheerfully wheeled me right to the door of my truck...quite some di... read more

I tore both my shoulders on the job, the receptionist was incredibly rude and the medical staff was worse! The doctor condescended and pontificated for about 10 minutes, and then tried to say nothing was wrong until both my shoulders came out of joint at the same time. Then stubbornly sent me up stairs half dressed because nobody would assist me putting my clothes back on. I've received better care from 3rd world Wich doctors!
