Lovely B$B.. Helpful friendly staff. Very clean comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast. wine and cheese happy hour
Great location. Within a short walk of downtown and a short drive to Acadia. Rooms and decor need updating. Wooden floors are very squeaky. Wakes you up when someone comes in late. Breakfast was just ok. Meals are not made on site. Served soggy French toast twice. The owner hovers in the dining area and talks. Sometimes you just want a quiet breakfast.
Interesting place that is a short walk to downtown Bar Harbor. Nice breakfast and happy hour. Great employees. A bit pricey and our room has no thermostat, a tiny single towel rack, pretty cold. Get a room with a thermostat if booking here..
The breakfast was very good (even for someone who doesn’t like eggs, the quiche was great). Service was flawless. Owner Bob walks around during breakfast and chats with guests. Location couldn’t be beat. Within walking distance to the main shopping area and we saved a lot of money not having to park downtown as well as having breakfast here every morning.
