I saw Dr. Seyer at 6 weeks for my first ultrasound. At that point, she diagnosed the gestational sac as eccentrically located, potentially in my cornua. If this was true, my uterus could rupture at any time and the pregnancy would not be viable. When I asked her the liklihood of having a cornual pregnancy vs. intrauterine, she said it was a toss up and too early to tell. Not once did she mention that only 2% of all pregnancies are ectopic and of that number, only 2-4% are cornual. I had zero symptoms. She had no data on my H... read more
