Dr. Mai is very caring. I have been her patient for several years. I have brain MRIs annually to check for disease progression - this year my MRI showed significant changes for which Dr Mai recommended a spinal MRI to check for additional signs of progression . My partner has had many months of a long run around trying to figure out what’s going on with her health, in constant pain and with almost every symptom of MS. Dr. Mai essentially threw her hands up and accused her of being depressed, as if that somehow explained the severe chronic pain she is constantly in among many other things.
