A few years back I went to this gyno and she was brushing off all of my questions and making me feel belittled. And then instead of calming me down she said I was emotional just like her daughter. She decided it’s time for my pap smear while I was already crying from not feeling heard. She lays me down and then proceeds to tell me I’m “tight” before inserting the instrument into me. I've since seen a new ob/gyn who ordered tests and found a mass in my uterus which I'm now having surgery for. I felt brushed off by Anne Laura Torna not taken seriously. She argued with me over previous appointment conversations. Not to mention the after appointment summary on mychart was inaccurate to what was said in the appointment. I was stunned to read the awful reviews on Dr. Torna. My experience have been superb. She made me feel so comfortable and heard, something that never happened with ANY other GYN. Maybe some people don't like what she is saying, but she has to give her educated opinion even if you don't like it. They don't have to follow it.
