Reassuring to see I'm not the only one who felt dismissed by Dr. Torna. All my life, I've been led by gynos, primary care docs, even my own mother, to believe that my menstrual pain is not worth taking seriously, told to take OTC pain meds or birth control, (heating pad, cooling pad, roll an orange on your abdomen, the list of useless crap I've tried goes ON). Just an update to my last review and I hope you see this and stop dismissing patients because your causing undue suffering or get out of gynogology all together. As a woman yourself I am appauled, because of your dismissal of my symptoms, I've now had 2 excisions surgeries. I've lost my appendix, both tubes, my uteral sacarel ligaments, my fertility, and EIGHTEEEN inches of bowel and have to be on repression drugs and followed up with every 6 months for the rest of my life. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR.
I need a hysterectomy bc I have uterine cyst. Had CT scan and Dr Torna said she doesn’t think my uterus is the root cause of my pain. WHAT??!! If she read the results, it CLEARLY says all my other organs are normal EXCEPT my ovaries and uterus. And she also told me she doesn’t believe I’m in that much pain. WHAT??!! Today, I met Dr. Torna for the first time during my annual check-up. I don't really understand why her feedback on Google is so low. She is a highly qualified professional. She was very nice, made me feel comfortable during the check-up, and asked about my concerns or if I had any questions, which she answered thoroughly. I also received all the necessary referrals for tests. I will certainly return to Dr. Torna without any doubts. Highly recommend!
