Anna opened the doors to her retail store in February of 2001, after over ten years of catering private functions. After graduating from Yale College in 1989, Anna set out for law school, but found she spent more class time planning dinner parties and dreaming up new recipes than taking notes. She spent three years as the head chef at Orchard Hill Market before opening her own business. Anna's food is consistently first rate. Her entrees are to die for, her deserts are yummy, her soups delicious, and her side dishes scrumptious. She's delightful from a service standpoint, except if you're of the "high maintenance" "controlling" or "picky" types. But if you're reasonable and collaborative, she'll over-service the hell out of you and you'll get the best combination if cuisine, service, and price east of the Pecos. Do not use this catering service. We were extremely dissappointed with Anna's catering. She charged us an exorbitant amount for food that fed less than half of the people that we'd told her would be at the event, and that ended up consisting mainly of rice and veggies. We were embarrassed in front of friends and colleagues. She was also very unaccomodating to our complaints about it. We would never reccommend using her.
