When I had a widow maker this summer out of the blue, the gods were smiling on me when they put me in the care of Dr. Kini and her team at Mt. Sinai. Within an hour of being picked up by the EMTs on the UES, I was in Dr. Kini's Catheterization lab, wide awake, as she and her staff cleared the total blockage in my heart, then placed a stent in my LAD.
