Dr. Veerappan is wonderful. She is meticulous, detailed and genuinely caring. lucky to have her as my physician.
This Dr. is awful and doesn’t care for the patient. She is extremely arrogant and dismissive. After explaining my symptoms and how it’s not improving she said “at least it’s not cancer. What do you want to do?” Wow! Really? You get paid so much money to ask me what I want to do instead of offering solutions. She is the worst doctor I’ve ever had. I hope I never experience a doctor like her again. She is leaving Duke for UNC. Beware! I do not recommend her.
She needs to show that she cares about the patient. Her introduction to the patients should be a bit more friendly. Her demeanor was very cold and uncaring. At least crack a smile and pretend you care. I felt like I was a number to her and not a patient.
Fantastic physcian w excellent bedside care. Goes above and beyond for her patients.
Dr. Veerappan was very helpful and kind to my mother whose appointments I attended. She took the time to explain complicated medical terms to us in easy to understand language, which really put us at ease. She was available for follow-up questions we had after the appointment. I'm glad my mother was in such good hands.
