Excellent doctor. Very responsive and collaborative with patient.
New insurance and new doctor. I am a relatively healthy non-drinker/ non-smoker with little to no outlying health conditions. I saw Dr. Chang for my annual physical and as physicals are not as invasive as they once were, I think we got along fine. She was very comprehensive and thorough regarding all health concerns and got my referrals in order quickly and efficiently. As an RN, I have a pretty good idea what good care is. I found that (and more) in Dr. Chang. I have been with her for almost a year. I am not as complicated as some patients, but there are several areas of concern. She spends a lot more time than most docs do. She makes eye contact, is warm and compassionate, listens and responds. She collaborates with me in my care rather than telling me what to do. We discuss everything until *I* am satisfied the decision is a good one. Having moved recently we need a new PCP and Dr Chang was recommended. This appointment was supposed to be a session to see if we were a fit, patient to doctor. I’m a kidney transplant recipient who is in very good health thanks to outstanding physicians who helped me recover and derived my long term meds particularly addressing insomnia, a result of the anti-rejection drugs I take.
