I saw Dr. Zabrecky for an annual visit in the spring of 2022. I brought with me results of an at-home fertility hormone test, the results of which, I now know, suggested I was experiencing Primary Ovarian Insufficiency. I was 32 at the time in a committed relationship with my now husband and explained that I was not actively trying to get pregnant, but wanted to understand my results. Dr.zabrecky is a caring, friendly and above all, her ‘sense of femininity’ is what made me feel comfortable with her. This is my first time with the doctor and I already feel like I know her my entire life.
She is nice, but gave me more negative feedback than positive on different contraceptive options. I am more confused and anxious than before. If you are a younger woman, she might not be the best fit.
