My appointment was scheduled (last month, mind you!) for 11:15. After checking in and paying my copay, I noticed the board stating Ivester was 30 minutes behind. I inquired, and was finally told that the wait will actually be 45 minutes. The current time is 12:28. I don't think any physician would wait this long for a patient. This doctor has helped me in more ways than I think she is expected to. When coming to her with an issue, she truly seems to care about my well being and long term health. She focuses on both mental and physical and doesn't seem quick to throw medication at you hoping to just mask symptoms. She always seems to want to find the root of the problem and if possible, fix that first. Additionally, shes provided me with understanding of whatever diagnoses or medication that she has given me. Unprofessional, biased and rude. First appointment and grilled my 15 year old to the point of her crying. If you have a problem with a plant based diet then please talk to the parent, not ask the child questions like, "How many amino acids are you getting?" Seriously?! I would say most adults don't know what amino acids they are getting daily. I find Dr. Ivester very pleasant, attentive, and willing to listen and answer all questions without seeming in a hurry.
