Dr Koulova overbilled insurance then accepted insurance payment then required patient to pay the overcharge which was more than agreed fee from insurance. Additionally, the phone system is terrible waiting all day

Dr. Koulova is a caring and very intelligent cardiologist . She addressed all of my concerns during my appointment and goes above and beyond to answer all of my concerns promptly and with competence !

After my recent experience at Stamford Health Medical Group, I must express my honest opinion that the Cardiology department requires improvement. Although the medical professionals were competent, the department appeared disorganized, and there seemed to be a lack of coordination among staff members. Additionally, while riding the elevator, I overheard staff members making negative comments about one another, which I found unprofessional and embarrassing. I met with Dr. Koulva For a pre procedure meeting and I concur that she was disorganized and did not have the greatest concern for me. She wanted to order tests that I refused because of the cost but she insisted and said her office would take care of the bill. Well here i am a year later with a large bill in collections and i cant get a hold of the people in her office and they don't return my call to help. I would not recommend Dr.. Koulova
