My wife discovered thagt she had a small Stage 1 carcinoma and a nearby lesion of unknown character. She had a lumpectomy that removed both masses. The second mass was biopsied and also found cancerous. My wife had 10 days of radiation treatment and and ati hormonal treatment was recommended. We went to see Dr. Gattani. Dr Gattani was extremely helpful, able to describe the conditions, the pros and cons in terms that we could easily understand. She was not pushy, not rushed for time. BEWARE!! Dishonest business practices. Over five months after confirming with her office that she was an in-network provider, I received a call from Dr. Gattani's office requesting payment for over $500 for an annual checkup. In good faith, I negotiated and confirmed a discounted rate with her staff. Less than a week letter I received a demand letter from her practice for the full out of network balance or they will "have this account sent in for collection for non-payment". BEWARE!
An amazing arrogant and self centered practitioner. At the least sign of complications she advises "go straight to the energy room! (Sic) Dr G falls apart as soon as something is not routine and within her absolute control. She is aribratary and self-righteous. In an emergency, she invokes arbitrary self assumed protocols --thus becoming ineffective. This is not only disappointing but dangerous as it pushes a patient to seek alternate care just when familiarity is exceedingly important.
A caring ,conscientious physician who will go the extra mile. I can’t say enough good things about her. And her staff is excellent, especially Dorothy at front desk
Kind, caring, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. A superb doctor - so grateful that I was referred to her.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
