New patients be aware: Dr. Fieldman's office accepts new patients, especially if you are pregnant. Overall, she is a nice person and has a clean office. However, she doesn't attend your labor and assign you to a random doctor close to your due date. Highly recommend to get her full commitment at the beginning of your pregnancy. Otherwise, you might end up like us very stressed and lost because you don't have ob-gyn you can rely on. While Dr Fieldman is good at what she does, I do not appreciate the 1+ hour wait time beyond my appointment for a routine checkup. If she has too many patients, then add more days in Manhattan or take fewer new patients. I left the practice because I just couldn’t spend hours waiting for test results which can be delivered over the phone or going in for a prescription renewal.

She’s a good GYN, attentive and thorough when you get face to face with her. I have no complaints about her care of me in the room. But I’ll say that waiting for two hours just to have 20 minutes is incredible and so so unprofessional. This is the second time I’ve had to wait to a similar length. And I only see her once a year for an annual cervical exam and check up. If I had to see her for more regular appointments I’d find another OB/GYN.
