I rarely write a negative review, but unfortunately this was the worst pedicure of my life. It was rushed and painful. Technician was rough throughout, but most notably, when filing the surface of my nails she was sloppy and actually filed my skin, breaking it and leaving an open wound. She subsequently used nail polish remover to clean up the edges of a sloppy polish job and put it right in the cut. I was wincing and grimacing throughout and she did not react. I just visited Ann Volcano Nail Lounge and had a good experience. The salon is very clean, relaxing, and has a great ambiance. I got a pedicure and gel manicure, and I really appreciated how thoroughly my nails and cuticles were cleaned. The reason I’m giving 3 stars instead of 5 is because I wasn’t completely happy with the polish application. We normally don’t do reviews. It’s a very nice and clean place. We went in for a pedicure and we were so disappointed that both girls never cleaned and removed our cuticles. I even ask her if she is going to clean and remove our cuticles. I hope this won’t happen to other customers.
If I could give more than five stars I would. Everyone in this establishment is so friendly and kind. Personally, I see Jackson for my nails. I never leave disappointed, I always feel like he understands what I’m asking for and it always lasts. I will recommend everyone and anyone to come in here for services from any of the staff members, it is the most pleasant experience you’ll have.
