Took suv in over winter due to ongoing humming in rear. 1200$ rebuild, once roads cleared from snow noise was still there. Took back in to have inspected and was advised to come back later. Sold vehicle because it was a third car, however I do believe it was tires making the noise over rear-end. Rear-end probably needed rebuilt, however not what was brought in for and tired of being taken advantage of from businesses. Good luck
The service is great. The people are super nice. They are timely and cost efficient. All of the estaminets they gave me where right on when I went I pick my car up. They know what they are doing and will explain it to you. I am glad I finally found a car shop I can trust.
I was referred to AA transmission from a relative who is a avid "hot rod" car owner and lover. My 08 Mercury Mariner had already lost its first tranmission, which was under warranty, and now I needed yet again a second repair in only 4 years (although some of the vin #s were issued a recall for defective transmission, according to Ford mine wasnt one of them. yeah right)! We took our 1995 Chevy Blazer to Ann Arbor Transmission for a new transmission. We found the owner to be professional, respectful, and a real "car guy", which made us feel comfortable and confident about the workmanship. So far, the Blazer is running great and we are happy to have it back on the road. I would definitely recommend Ann Arbor Transmission to anyone.
These guys offered the best price I could find after calling 6 locations in Ann Arbor. I didn't have time to call more, but they quoted $1600 for a rebuild of a 2003 Cavalier transmission. It ended up being $1650 after tax. I brought it in at about 11:00 a.m. and the next day by 4:00 p.m. they had finished. They were willing to drive me to a rental car place, as well as pick me up from rental place when I returned the car. I really appreciated that.
