I’m a new loyal customer of Ann Arbor Stone and Tile! I came in asking if they had any broken pieces of granite that weren’t being used. I’m into leather crafting and need it for a project. Denise listened to me and was attentive to what I needed despite knowing I was not coming in to buy something. She truly cared and as a customer it made me feel that my experience was important. From the moment we started the project, Ann Arbor Stone and Tile, along with Detroit Stone and Tile, have been absolutely fantastic to work with. The showroom is stunning—filled with large slabs that really helped me visualize how the countertops would look in our space. Having that kind of visual reference made such a difference in the decision-making process. Ann Arbor Stone was fantastic! The team in the showroom was super helpful in finding the perfect countertop for my kitchen. I brought an inspo pic, got exactly what I imagined, and it turned out even better than I expected! The installers were really nice and professional, and I was amazed by what they could do. I can't wait to start my next project!
We did not enjoy our experience with Ann Arbor Stone and Tile. We've been to the showroom multiple times and also dealt with them over the phone and each time their 'designer' was condescending and snooty. She made wild assumptions about our installer, even though she didn't know who he was, and was very dismissive of our preferences. We were able to find the same tile at a different shop (Virginia Tile) for a lower price, with a MUCH shorter lead time (two weeks vs. two months), and friendlier sales folks.
