I have been seeing Dr Modi and I am wondering why I am even spending money in his office. I have had a problem with a slow weight loss (not no-weight loss) because even with correcting for hypothyroidism and hypogonadism on top of calorie restrictions and exercise, my weight loss is still much slower than it used to be when I was younger. bone density decreased after medication holiday. told me 5 different ways why I night not need medicine including that I have to have a fracture and bone density needs to decrease further, check in one year. He is not for women.
He takes time to understand your concerns and doesn’t rush you. I highly recommend him!
If you are trying to investigate your A1C and fasting or post prandial glucose levels do not make an appointment with this MD. I also mentioned on their portal (when I made the appointment) that it has been hard to lose weight. A few weeks before my appointment I received a call from his office that he does not see patients for weight loss. Disregarding my concerns and medical history. Less than ok he frightened me when we met by saying "'Oh you're hear for C"? Thank God he was wrong, he had not read my chart. His manner got better but he gave a test that had inconclusive results. So I had to retake that test with another doctor not with Summit and got the right results. He also isn't good with feedback in portal.
