I have tried to get ahold of them several times. They don't answer and they never call you back. So unprofessional
Heather W. is my sister and a patient of theirs. She has been trying, since Monday to contact Ankeny Smiles. It just rings and rings then goes to a voicemail. She has left messages, with her number and NO ONE RESPONDS! This is the worst customer service that I have ever witnessed! Yesterday, someone actually called her to see about moving an appointment for her. My sister had to check her schedule, and call back. This place is literally the best.It can be a long wait list to get in , but they sure do help people.
UPDATE as of 04/28/26 — the surgeon completely left a chunk of tooth in my gums that is now infected and I have to get another extraction. My dentist was genuinely confused as to why he never removed it and left it there. I was told it was a piece of bone when I left but now my dentist has confirmed it was a root of a tooth. I had to get 14 teeth extracted for partial dentures. I was so nervous of judgement and the pain but the dentist was so sweet and reassuring. I had the worst toothache I have EVER had and they squeezed me in! 3 days later, they told me they would call in the mouth rinse rather then me pay directly for it and they still have not called it in..I have spoken with someone on Friday who was supposed to call me back and she never did and again I am STILL waiting for them to call it in. If u just prefer that ur patients pay for it in office, say that. There's no need to stall me for days. I seriously changed my whole opinion on this dentist office. It's a bad look.
