Impossible to get an appointment to follow up and get stent removed the doctor is super nice and professional but need better staff
I have found Dr. Ankem to be personable, compassionate and professional. When visiting with him he takes his time and explains any procedures or results clearly and patiently, asking what questions I have. Based on a friend's similar experience, I chose Dr. Ankem over the local huge conglomerate of physicians. I had a terrible experience there and I'm grateful that I made the switch.
Dr. Ankem is very personable. He is helpful and takes time to go over presenting complaints. Very recommended.
Does not listen to patient concerns, does not explain surgical procedures before or after surgery, prefers to let other staff members deal with patient when procedures do not progress as expected, I returned home with more issues than had prior to surgery and 3 yrs later I am still dealing with those issues because they cannot be corrected.....I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
