I was really happy with my experience at the Anjema Eye Institute. I had an urgent issue with my vision which Dr Anjema was able to diagnose and treat promptly. He explained the diagnosis and treatment thoroughly, and answered all of my questions. I felt very confident in the care I received. The staff was also helpful and friendly making me feel a bit more relaxed during a stressful time. I feel like we are very fortunate to have quality specialized care like this in Chatham and I thank them for the service they provide.
I'm only writing this review to WARN PEOPLE NOT TO GO HERE. My mom has been a patient for many years. Because of Dr. Anjema she has permanent vision loss in one of her eyes. Instead of fixing her eye which was hemorrhaging blood for over a year, he continued to poke her eye with a needle in every visit and make the damage worse. Do yourself a favour and read the one star reviews left by countless former patients. This office intentionally overbooks patients and frequently has wait times of 3+ hours. They do not respect you as a patient and they do not respect your time. Also, google “doctor anjema toronto star” when you get a free moment. You will be shocked and horrified.
