OMG what a hidden gem! Doesn't look like much from the outside... But don't be fooled! Great vibe, great coffee, great food... And a giant cozy funky back room, complete with avant guard art and couches!
This is a quaint spot in a suburban Vanier neighbourhood that looks unassuming from the outside. Inside is charming with a few tables and counter service. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the prices can't be beat: $10 for a single-patty smash burger with cheese and bacon! A second patty is only $2 more. My main complaint was that someone working there was smoking pot right at the entrance. I don't really want to inhale that just to go in your establishment.
*Hands down* the best burger I've had in Ottawa in a while. At $10 for *two* patties 🤯. No fancy brioche bun or caramelized onions, just perfectly juicy patties and just the right amount of toppings. Can't wait to go back and try their eggs in purgatory. Also looks like they have cool evening events.
