Please do not use this clinic. My daughter and I took our cat there for a second opinion after we saw little improvement in the cats health from the previous vet visit. We were greeted my two technicians who seemed indifferent in thier attitude and not very helpful. When we explained the cats health issues and that we were there for a second opinion, we were basicly told to take the cat back to the first vet as he would know more about the cat. I have been inside and the place is very dirty. If somethings bad happens t you pet they will make up excuses to cover themselves. He will have all animals lined up in a row all ast ut and ready to be operated on then thrown in a cage and no one to watch them over night. He does 8 or more in a two hour time frame. He will charge extra for meds not needed in some cases when he wants to cover his rear. Dont ever go here. No doctor is ever in the office. The place seems to be running by just the technicians. The took up 700 dollars just to do blood testing and 1 vaccination. Ended up giving my dog an infection on the neck from shaving too much fur off. And then they tried to charge me another 200 just to fix it. So we ended taking our pup to another vet and they charged us a fraction of what ive paid for and fixed the problem. So please IF YOUD LIKE TO SAVE MONEY AND YOUR PETS HEALTH, DONT EVER COME HERE.
I made the mistake of taking my cat to be spayed last Thursday morning on the advise of a relative. Had to leave her all day. She was completely unconscious and sent home with bandages still on her! They gave me a bottle of antibiotics but no pain meds; said they had given her a pain injection.I had to take her to the ER on Friday because I couldnt take the bandages off and she was trembling really hard like she was in pain. They dont allow you to be present during treatment. I have never seen a vet. Pricing is reasonable but its not worth it. I took my cat there a couple years ago to get neutered and when they brought him out to me I thought he was dead. When I asked if he was dead the tech opened his eye, touched his eyeball and said, "See, hes okay." He might have been okay to her but to me he was completely unconcious and laying in a puddle of his own urine. This place is kinda scary to take your pet. They take your dog behind closed doors and you have to wait in the lobby. A Vet never talks to you, only the helpers. You never even see the vet, or any treatments given to your dog.
I WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND ANIMANA TO ANYONE!!! Remember you get what you pay for! We need to get our dog spayed and our regular clinic had a 2 month waiting list, but Animana could get us in next week and the price was right. They advised that you have to leave your dog overnight for observation. When we picked her up the next day, she was so out from all the drugs. I drive past their office every day going to work and never see a car in the parking lot - so, is there really someone there observing or are the drugged dogs in th... read more
I agree with the others. I have been there 4 times and never seen a vet. Spayed or neutered, cost is ok. After each visit, I have wondered why I went. Last time they diagnosed bladder spasms and prescribed anti-biotics and special food. Never used the anti-biotics. They obviously found nothing. I wont go back. It does bother me that I have never met the vet. Bad business. I think the techs are doing all the work.
