Not the place to go when you’re on a budget. I’ve always told my veterinarians my budget because it’s important to be on the same page and never had something like this happen. The doctor gave me a brief lecture about letting him know my budget. One of the sentences that is still ringing in my head is “well it’s not like you said you were a poor girl” then briefly left the room to grab meds. All this led me to have a panic attack.
