Ear Croping – If you are considering having your Dobermans ears cropped by Dr. Higgins - Don't! I now know why they offer no pictures of ears done previously. My dogs ears were uneven. He would not post them after the surgery. He claims he won't because of the possibility of infection. The fact is he does not know how to properly post the ears. Done correctly, with surgical paste, tape and a paper cup, the stitches are left open to heal. Luckily I found a breeder in Cashmere, WA that did this for me (an additional $200). The... read more
Awesome Doctor who saved our dogs life – This Dr saved our dogs life. We took "baby" our black small dog into them because she was very ill on a Saturday. He used his expertise and did emergency surgery on her when he did not intend to do since he was closing. If it wasn't for him, our dog would have died. I live in Kennewick and will now take all my animals to him.
