The man at the front desk was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I called for an appointment and he said they had time when I arrived he was rude to myself and other customers in the waiting room. When the woman next to me asked to see her invoice he responded “you already signed the estimation” he was not helpful in any way.
We had to take our 15-year-old kitty, Sage, in when her back legs suddenly stopped working. She'd been given a rabies shot and Revolt flea poison on her neck 3 months earlier at a different place, and she deteriorated VERY rapidly, starting the night of that previous vet visit. The last place brought her to her end prematurely IMHO. The kind staff here got her in immediately and with no appointment, treated her gently and with respect, and gave us the bad news we already suspected very kindly, and with SO much compassion!! My little chihuahua, Frankie, was terribly ill so I took him to Animal Medical & Surgical Center of Bellingham.They took Frankie in immediately, did necessary blood work, and had a diagnosis for me in short order. Unfortunately my little guy was quite ill, but after several days under their expert and loving care, he's feeling much better. We had to bring our cat in for sudden severe diarrhea as we were unable to see our regular vet in a timely manner. They were very welcoming and warm towards us and our cat. We were able to get a diagnosis pretty quickly and initial treatment (probiotics & antibiotics) was offered immediately. We ultimately decided to receive the follow up treatment/ medication elsewhere due to visit cost concerns. Overall, the experience was very fast, straightforward and kind.
