WORST PLACE EVER!!! Awful place!!! It stinks inside, the vet only looks at your pet in terms of $$$ and wanted to charge me $179 for blood work because they needed to sedate him. Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent Experience! We starting visiting Animal Kingdom after we first got a pet turtle as Dr. Ruth is one of the few vets in the area that will treat turtles. We have since acquired a cat and now a puppy and have been thrilled with the care and attention we received there. With a tight budget at the moment, we were concerned about the cost of spaying our puppy, but Animal Kingdom's rates are right in line with other vets, so I was surprised to see a prior post about high prices. Nice animal hospital Animal Kingdom is a very nice, professional, and caring veterinary facility on Grand Island, that is quite convenient for residents. The facility offers all types of services for household pets, including boarding. The doctors and supporting staff are incredibly friendly, making you feel as if they are a member of the family, and allowing for a very calm visit for your pets. OUTSTANDING The office is clean and very professional. Dr. Ruth is the best. We drive quite a distance to get to Animal Kingdom because it is worth it. Our dog suffered from a thyroid problem for MANY years. We tried shampoos, special food, and cortizone injections, etc. for his skin conditions with other vets - and our dog suffered. Dr. Ruth recognized the problem and fixed it right away. Our old dog is SO much happier. Wish we had found out about Dr. Ruth earlier. This is a very honest review. I went there because it was close to my home, and I'll do everything for my adopted dog. I also read the good reviews, but it was not as good as I thought. My dog had allergies, and they prescribed a lot of things for him. To make the story short, I paid $500 for medicine that didn't work, and now my dog is worse than ever. Ohh, and I didn't buy the rest of the prescription. You can imagine how much more I still had to buy. They don't give you a copy of any prescription, you HAVE TO BUY EVERYTHI... read more

The vets and staff here were so nice and helpful; I have already told my loved ones that they should start coming here. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. I didn't experience any unnecessary stress during my visit, and I was amazed at how much better I felt after I left. I couldn't believe how great their office looked. It was very obvious that they took pride in the office's appearance. It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen.
