I have been to this store off and on for years. I do not think the store is very neat or organized in any sense of the word. The staff is friendly and some of them really do know what they are talking about but others just seem to say things to sell customers something. They do have a large amount of supplies and pets but I do not think that the animals are given the best care that is possible.
Animal Jungle Has a large variety of pet supplies and fish. Very big shop. Very hard to get any type of help or questions answered. Their prices are higher than other pet shops around and they are not very friendly.
Fun, But Fish Aren't Well Cared For This pet store has a large selection of exotic animals and pet supplies, and is generally a fun place to visit. However, I generally cannot stand to go into the fish department, as many of their fish (especially the bettas) are not well cared for. The last time I was there I saw several bettas with advanced fin rot, sitting in little cups with maybe an inch of water. Animal Jungle My kids love to go to this place. I have never been to a pet store that has such a wide variety of animals. It is like an indoor zoo!!! I must admit we have never purchased an animal from here. We generally just go there to look around and see the animals. I have interacted with a worker there. The coolest animals This place has the coolest and the most exotic animals I have ever seen in a pet store. They are one of two places around that I have been able to find a certian kind of pet food. Sometimes my son and I go in there just to look at the animals.
Best selection of animals and supplies in town! If you are an animal lover, this is the store for you. There are lots of fish, reptiles, small pets, and exotic birds here. Great for kids. The staff could be more friendly, and I would not board your pet here. They do not keep the boarding area clean, and our pets water was always dirty.
Not my first choice for shopping for supplies or pets I have been a customer for about 20 years. Even when they were a teeny tiny little store across the street in Timberlake Shops. Animals not always properly cared for... I realize the constraints of building-size with regards to pet store animal facilities, however, I was very unhappy with the manner in which ferrets, puppies, and kittens were encased. I believe the business relies on the quick sell of these animals and so they are often squeezed into a smaller facility than appropriate.
