Best Boarding/Grooming Facility Whenever we need to go out of town we send our Jack Russell (Zeus) to "summer camp". He absolutely love, love, loves coming here. He is ready to play and have fun! He always comes home with the best doggie pedi ever!! They must have magic hands because he never lets us do his nails.... and they do an excellent job!! Better than a spa! My eskies are family. Outside of an overnight stay with our vet, they were boarded only once (3 days with a place in Gaithersburg that I will not mention - bad experience), when they were two yrs. old. Fast forward to 2010 and the need for boarding for a week: OMG! I was a wreck because I didn't know whom to turn to. Animal Inn The Animal Inn is a great kennel and cattery. You get a lot for your money - they charged me $35 a day for both of my dogs which included two walks a day and a bath before being sent home. The staff is very friendly and my dogs did not seem stressed when we picked them up. The only downside is that there seems to be no direct way to get to it. It is located right across the street from the Reich's Ford Recycling Center. PROS: Price and quality CONS: location
We like the Animal Inn. We found the Animal Inn purely by accident. We had a vacation scheduled and, at the last minute, had to change boarding arrangements for our dog. We called and they were able to fit him in (very last minute) and were very helpful and accommodating. I've been meaning to write this for a couple of weeks. There's not many reviews about the cat care at the Animal Inn of Frederick. Almost everything has to do with dogs. After checking - in person, more than 8 boarding locations for my elderly rescue cat, I decided on Animal Inn. We trusted Animal Inn with our elderly greyhound and high energy GSP. Up until that point, we were used to scheduling trips around availability of family members to watch our dogs, because we had so much anxiety. We stopped in randomly to take a tour and were impressed with the facility condition and the professionalism that the staff members showed in addressing our questions and concerns. I have been getting my dogs groomed here for many years. Nicole is a wonderful groomer with many years of experience. She has such a great way of interacting with the animals and is so talented at what she does. Our dogs always look amazing after seeing her! The entire staff is consistently friendly and knowledgeable. Their pricing is extremely reasonable as well. A friendly, welcoming, and clean place to board your pets - our dog is always so excited to go there that he runs straight to the door and jumps up and down until we bring him inside :)
