Marissa is very friendly, very personable, and obviously cares about animals as much as anyone!! When I call with questions, she gets the answer and calls me back as soon as she can (which is typically within an hour; I have never had to wait long). Dr. Rakestraw is very friendly, very knowledgeable, and really knows his stuff when it comes to our baby, Dickens. I took my dog there for obvious signs of dermatitis. The vet didn’t do a thorough examination and ruled it allergies. I did everything I could to keep my dog from scratching her skin off but I could tell she was in pain. A few days later I noticed my other dog began to itch. Having seen mange, I knew it was more serious than allergies and made an appointment with another vet. It was confirmed sarcoptic mange. Front desk staff is completely unwilling to work through any issues. I couldn't have my dogs vaccination records faxed over to them because their fax machine was inoperable. I presented other options such as verifying over the phone, going to get the records myself and returning in 10 minutes, even bringing my dog with me and coming back with the records. Customer service is non-existent from the receptionist/vet tech. She is excessively rude and and makes zero effort to show any appreciation for customers/clients. If you can look past the receptionist/vet tech, the actual vet is great. That said, not sure how much longer this can be overlooked before we will have to find another vet.....we know several people with this same opinion.

Very poor customer service, called to request our records for our two dogs and was told we had to wait a minimum of 24 hours to pick up our records. The receptionist was extremely rude to my wife. I contacted the KY State Board of Veterinarians(google them) and they verified no such law exist. I would not trust my pets to be cared for by this facility since the receptionist bold faced lied to me. I've moved around inside KY two other times and had no wait time to receive my pets records for my active duty military moves.

I can't recommend Jeremy and his staff highly enough. Their experitse has saved the life of my GSD and kept him going despite his continued illness. The kindness and compassion that Jeremy showed when he came to pts my 15 year old GSD was remarkable. I felt that he really cared about her and he made her last moments peaceful. They really care about the animals to the extent that the also support a number of local. Added to all this they do their own out of hours calls. What more could anyone ask from their vet.
