Dr. Smolen and his team are amazing. While traveling, our dog started vomiting and could not keep food or water down. The office kindly agreed to work her into the schedule and Dr. Smolen quickly identified a foreign object in her small intestine which did not appear to be moving. He and the staff supported her with medication and hydration and they consulted with a radiologist. These selfless people saved my cat. It was a Saturday night when I noticed my cat displaying symptoms of a urinary issue, it became very serious very fast. I shot for the moon and left a voicemail and to my surprise was responded to early Sunday morning. They opened the clinic on a day they were closed. Dr. Smolen is a hero! I had what could have been an emergency with my dog on a Saturday evening while all vets were closed. My closest option was a 2.5 hour drive away. Dr. Smolen walked me through some diagnosis over text and made himself available. I couldn’t not have had a better experience!
