My dog was groomed and ended up with scabies due to the equipment not cleaned after use. The doctors at the Animal Hospital couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my dog after given him medication after medication. I ended up going to Tufts because my dog ended up with a terrible rash. It cost me $1500 to treat his skin.
The expertise of the doctors at The Animal Hospital Of Putnam is mind blowing. They have the best care for your pets that I have ever seen. Intelligent doctors that really know what is going on. The assistants are so sweet and caring and take much pride in their jobs. I have lived in other states, and this animal hospital surpasses them all. Thank you all for your fantastic services. Dr. Smith, you are the best. Dr. Drake, you are also wonderful. God bless you all.
I switched veterinarians because Dr. Smith took care of my dog when I had an emergency that my prior vet said he couldn't see til the next day. Max had a very painful ear and could not wait another day. They are truly a caring and wonderful place to take all my pets which currently include 3 dogs, 2 cats, a ferret and 2 parakeets.
I've been using this place for awhile and the service and staff was always friendly but, I found out this place euthanizes perfectly healthy pets just because the owners dont want them. They ask if the owner tried to place the animal, then euthanizes them without even trying to rehome them . This dirty secret is money motivated, morally and ethically wrong.
This is Dr. Smith's hospital and a very wonderful place. She always sees my dogs and takes great care of them. She did ACL surgery on my labs knee and he is walking better than ever now. I just think the whole staff is great too. Very caring and knowledgeable .
