I just started taking my dog to Animal Hospital of Mt. Pocono. The staff was wonderful and I felt very welcome there. I just moved into this area from the Philadelphia area and I have worked in veterinary clinics for many years. It was great to find a clinic in this area that also practices alternative modalities. Sienna is already doing better with the treatment plan and I am hoping she will continue to improve. I am very pleased so far!
On Thursday, September 3 this animal hospital posted a picture of a box of very young puppies, claiming that they had been dropped off at the animal hospital. The caption of the photo basically offered the puppies to whomever showed up at the animal hospital, first come first served. According to the comments, the puppies were "adopted" in hours, making it highly unlikely that background checks could have been conducted, and de worming, vaccinating or parvo screening could have been done that quickly.
