Visiting from Louisiana, on Monday, 10/14/19, my 10.5 year old Pomeranian developed bleeding from the rectum. I panicked & using the internet started calling every Vet Clinic close to us & was very disappointed that no one would see me immediately, until I spoke with Shannon @ Animal Hospital of Ivy Square. There cannot be another Vet's office more caring, compassionate, sympathetic as this group of lovely people. Dr. Hoskins and Shannon were absolute angels in disguise the day I had to make a heartbreaking decision about my baby, Trips. I am so thankful I landed in that office! ❤
RUDE! I took my cat there when I first moved to Charlottesville. They are overpriced, and the vet rushes thru your visit. his assistant jennifer was VERY RUDE. She rolled her eyes a lot when I was telling her about my cats medical history and acted very irritated that I was there. She took my cat in the back while I waited for forever and they did who knows what. My cat came back shaking.I dont feel comfortable taking my cat back there ever again. Try Earlysville- they are very nice.
This is a wonderful place, full of compassion and good care. Dr. Epstein is wonderful with my dog, he even cancelled his own doctors appointment to operate on my dog. I was referred here by a friend of mine after complaining about the care I was receiving at another vet. Im so glad that I went here for a second opinion- Dr. Epstein saved my dogs life.
