Our 10 year old cat Etta - one of four 100% indoor rescue cats of ours - was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism via blood test. After two weeks on oral methimazole to get her thyroid values "in range" for radiotherapy, we dropped her off. She had the treatment and stayed a total of four days at their facility. The two kittens, Petey and Junior, that share space with me, are top aficionados. Dr. Anderson adopted us a number of years ago. One random note is that one day I visited several years ago and the outside wall was smashed into the building a bit (a vehicle had backed into the building). This has been fully repaired. No doubt it is helpful that Dr. Anderson is both our vet and owner of said property. Recently there as been new staff. They all very nice and professional.
Although they are not our regular veterinary provider, we were referred to the RadCats service at the Animal Hospital of Carrboro. During her stay, our cat developed additional health issues. I cannot adequately express my appreciation for how the providers here cared for my pet, going above and beyond both in the care provided to the animal and the communication with us during her care, even as clients they had never seen before.
