We took our dog to be neutered and that night his sack swelled to about the size of my fist if not bigger and was leaking blood. He had not been active at all or got at it so it was worrisome to see this. We called the emergency number all night with no answer, and the next morning took him in to the office. We waited 30 minutes for a doctor. When we were seen he spent maybe 3 minutes and didnt even check our dog at all and just instantly prescribed a setative. They have always taken 5-star care of my “fur babies”. I trust this place with their lives! I even lived out of state for a little while & would make the long trip down to Price to have my pets visit this specific animal hospital. They treat my pets for small, basic issues (such as an antibiotic, trimming nails, shots/boosters) to more pressing issues as well (such as surgeries, or intensive teeth cleaning, etc). RecommendedWe've been bringing our animals to Dr. Thayn since moving to Carbon County over 20 years ago. He and his staff are so loving and caring of our four legged furbabies as well as our farm animals. He even came out to our home on a Saturday evening to stitch up the leg of one of our rams. We will always be customers here.

I was an established client for my very old dog when one Fri. eve she suddenly began to scream in pain .The recording by Dr. Thane said to call that # and he or his partner would call me back and either offer help over the phone or meet me at the clinic. I called at 7:30, 8:00 and 8;30 PM. I then gave up on getting a response. She screamed in pain for about 3 long hours before falling asleep exhausted. I felt trapped in the morn. I couldn't let her suffer again. I called and made arrangements for someone to come to euthanize... read more
