If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Early yesterday morning my 6 year old, 140 pound dog, had a massive grand mal seizure. He has never had one before, nor have I ever seen a dog have one, so it was very terrifying for everyone involved! Due to it being early on a Sunday morning, all vet offices were closed. Last night I noticed my 9 month puppy was licking her paw and there was blood on the floor It was late at night, everything was closed and I immediately contacted Animal HealthLink, sent a picture of the wound, was told what to purchase at the pharmacy, how to clean her paw and to video call them as soon as I was ready so they could walk me through how to put the bandage on, the Vet Tech was amazing, she was so patient and knowledgeable I couldn't have done it without them! I spoke to a tech about my senior dog's sudden inability to walk or stand! I was so freaked out, but she put my mind at ease. The tech took her time with me and was very professional and helpful. She went over all the signs and symptoms my dog was having. Upon her assessment I felt I could have a vet check her out the next day instead of late that night. This is a fantastic service! I'm so grateful it exists! It's very similar to having 811 for our babies, except this is specialized for our fur babies!
