Operated on my dogs eye and decided to go beyond the agreed procedure. My Great Dane needed emergency surgery to repair botched surgery. Refused to take any responsibility. Would not go to mediation and did not show up to small claims court first time. Sent his lawyer. I needed an expert witness to prove my case. He hired a fancy lawyer. He broke the three C of a good vet. Communication, competence and compassion. Beware!
I bring all my pets to Animal Health & Welness. The doctors and staff are all animal lovers who show compassion and professionalism to all visitors (human and animal). Their hours are convenient, and it is nice to be able to find help and advise at all times. When we needed to end the long suffering of our beloved Brodie, the staff was kind and comforting to him and us. They are a little pricey, but sometimes you get what you pay for. Thanks to all of the staff and Dr. Templeton!
I have tried a few other local vets. There is no one like Dr. Templeton. I was reluctant to start with a new vet after nine years, so I tried him out for one visit. I was hooked. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and always available. When I have called him after hours panicked that my little dog had eaten something toxic, he was always kind and patient. Dr. Templeton is wonderful. He's smart , kind and compassionate. The practice is a little on the expensive side but I think that he is fair. The only complaint that I have is that the receptionist at the front desk is a horror. She is often very nasty. Quite frankly I think that she is emotionally disturbed. Shes moody and schitzo like. Too bad he can't find a nicer person to cover the front desk. Hed have a near perfect practice.
Dr. Templeton is a wonderful veterinarian. He gets down on the floor and plays with the animals before doing an exam just to make them feel comfortable. He does a very thorough exam from head to tail, explaining everything he does. He provides many different options if there is something wrong with your pet. His vaccine recommendations depend on the owner and the pet. He is always willing to answer any question.
