Do not take your sick pets here. We called having an emergency with our dog, lethargy throwing up, diarrhea. They took her during their lunch hour from 1-2pm, it was her first visit but they skipped over any blood or urine tests and just gave us 'theories' and 'best guesses' of ileus which is a SYMPTOM not a cause. We were in and out in 30 minutes. Gave her a rabies shot on top of other medications and made a snarky remark about how she was 'legal now'. I'm not impressed with the people who are working there, the front end girls aren't friendly when they first started they ignored me when I walked in, someone changed my name on my account. When Dr. Wheat was there the crew was great friendly and happy to be there. Now I'm not so sure. My last appointment was for a kitten which was moved up a week? they were going to give her a solensia shot that was meant for a different cat of mine. It was a good thing the porter noticed. I'm looking for a different vet office.
The Animal General family has been our vet for a long time.They are professional and take excellent care of my fur babies. They handle every visit with compassionate care. I reccomend them.
We were visiting Fort Benning from Wisconsin and our thirteen year old labrador, Stella, got sick. We were able to see a vet the same day and received a goid exam, diagnosis and meds. Friendly, professional folks with reasonable prices for goods and services.
It has always been a pleasure to go here with my pets… my new Puppy Betty always happy to see them
