We moved to Animal General after our last vet retired and we are extremely happy with them! We’ve had 3 dogs see Dr. K. She is super smart and funny, never makes us feel rushed, and goes out of her way to look up the latest breed-specific studies for personalized care. They often take questions over text message, have been easy to make appointments with, and the front office staff is lovely too.
The $25 exam fee for new patients got me, and they were super kind and genuinely showed care for my cat. They didn’t pressure me to do anything but educated me on the benefits of further testing and what that would exactly look like! They gave suggestions and references and really went above and beyond!
The kindest, most caring and compassionate group of animal lovers/clinicians one could ever meet. My Zoe receives the best care possible and LOVES to go to see her friends at Animal General. (Pictured at one of her appointments there recently.)
Dr Steve Feldman the founder of Animal General is our vet for over 20 years. There is no one better. Three Border Collies and six Cats over these years. 5/7/25 my now two Border Collies, Dude just about to turn 6 & Elvis now 3, came to see Dr K for annual visit with blood tests and vax’s. She’s amazing! As are her staff. Great experiences again, now for dare I say it out loud, 30 years!!! Dude & Elvis & I are happy for being able to rely on Animal General. Little Dude says Thank you. And Elvis says Thank you vera much!
Dr.Christine Smith and the staff at ANIMAL GENERAL in Avon are the smartest and most considerate veterinarian service in this area. They are very thorough and make every effort to diagnose and treat any illness that my dog has presented .
