Brought my cat Toulouse here after being referred to them by my primary vet (Cane Bay, also amazing). Picture is of his left eye bleeding prior to retinal detachment (Saturday 5/16) and after retinal detachment in both eyes causing them to be dilated (Tuesday 5/19). Originally took him to Blue Pearl ER in Summerville on Saturday for the bleeding in the left eye where they failed to diagnose his hypertension leading to full retinal detachment in both eyes. Took my puppy here for his cherry eye and I am SO glad I did , the staff , all the staff , from the front desk to Dr Rodriguez who preformed his surgery were very kind. They are very affordable as well , for both eyes I was quoted as much as I was for one eye at a general practice vet ! This office definitely cares about its patients & im thankful to have ran across them
The staff was very knowledgeable, polite and gentle with my dog.
I don’t think that people understand how great of a human Dr. Hefner is. Not only is he an amazing Ophthalmologist but just he saved my little girl’s eyes. She passed away shortly afterwards and I don’t know how he found out but he took the time to write a card personally and it just meant the world to me.
