They helped me with the initial work up of my dog Kara who had developed a sudden heart problem. Compassionate, caring staff. As the work up continued we learned that Kara needed more advanced treatment and there was no hesitation in recommending that she be transferred to PEC for that treatment. Very thankful to Dr. Bell and the other doctor working that night, and all techs and assistants, for helping us get through a difficult evening. Took my cat here cuz he was sneezing alot and they told me upper respiratory problems. Ok cool, then proceeded to tell me they wanted to do way more tests on him that were not needed at all for him. Like he has a respiratory problem. Give us meds and let us be on our way. But no! They Told my mom that people who work minimum wage jobs shouldn't own pets at all and once find out if they are having problems with money, they WILL KEEP YOUR PET FROM YOU! Your family from you. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I brought my dog in because he swallowed a piece of corn. Apparently he had got into the garbage. I always baby proof my house but somehow he found one. Ate it. They were great, I kept him in the hospital over the weekend and then took him to my normal vet where he ended up passing it before surgery. It was a miracle. I just want to thank the team that were so caring with my baby Oreo. My 15 year old kitty very suddenly got very sick. They treated him with the absolute best care, and they communicated very clearly throughout his stay. Unfortunately he did not make it, but the team made sure I was able to get there in time and be with him in his final moments, and I will be forever grateful. One of my cats began to have complications breathing on a Friday night going into the weekend, and with her normal vet being closed for the weekend I brought her here to see what was wrong. Ultimately, my cat did not make it and had to be euthanized. The doctor and staff were very knowledgeable, professional, and sympathetic.
