I would recommend them. Had an emergency over memorial day weekend. The place is different to get to, but once inside it clean, the people are professional and they did not price gouge me. ThankYou AEC 610

TERRIBLE!!!! – I took my dog to the Houston's Animal Clinic this weekend in a panicked frenzy because his paw was bleeding. It turned out that his nail was broken and had to be removed. The vet said that it would be a quick procedure. They took him to the back. Came out 15 minutes later with his paw bandaged. The following day my dog was limping around all day and wouldn't eat, you could tell he was hurting. His regular vet opened today so we took him in for a follow up. It turns out that his nail is still there and that is ... read more

Great doctors & staff – I found the staff to be nothing but professional, curteous, and caring. I took my very sick cat there over the holiday weekend and they did everything in their power to help him. I was given alternatives for care based on type of care i wanted my animal to receive and what i could afford. I will go back if my animals need after hours care without hesitation. I highly recommend this clinic.

NEVER GO THERE!! – We took our mini poodle to them because he couldn't eliminate. It turned out to most likely be bladder cancer, so we chose to euthanize him. At first, they seemed very competent and he even got to go to sleep in my arms. They said they would hold him for us until we could bury him. Ultimately this was for a full month. We discovered last night they LOST him. There was a white cat in a bag marked apricot mini poodle. I would never, ever go there again.

horrible – the techs don't know what they're doing and they're misinformed.

HORRIBLE ANIMAL CLINIC! BEWARE! – I took my 6 week old puppy to this animal clinic... and first off... they make you pay a $95 office visit fee. I was giving details of why puppy was sick and asking so many questions... they didn't answer any of them! They weighed my pup and then took his temperature... and then they were quick to give me the $395 estimate to do blood work! My dog did not need blood work. I told them "no" and they showed me the door. How F--in rude to make people pay about $100 and you give no answers to any... read more

If you want to pay alot for a dead pet – The vets here are not concerned at all with the health and welfare of the pets they claim to treat. Our beloved young dog died as a result of their incompetence. Our hearts are broken and it is because we trusted this clinic. If you care for your pets go to another emergency clinic. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want a dead pet.

Not recommended at any cost – In January 2009, I took my aging dog who had symptoms of heart failure - three fainting spells, cyanotic gums - into this emergency clinic. After she sat in the back for three hours, alone, in a cage, I found that they had not triaged her - even after she collapsed in the arms of one of the receptionists. She had no treatment, no oxygen, no nothing. I then took her to VERGI, another emergency clinic, and at least they did tests on her, but to no avail. She died there. Two hours later, my dog was... read more

never again – My Kelpie mix Helga had a cut on the edge of the pad on her back left paw that was bleeding and since I wasn't sure if anything was broken we raced to the clinic to get it checked out. We arrived and sat waiting for nearly 45minutes. The tech was very nice and gentle when taking Helga's vitals. So far so good. Then the doctor came in and took Helga to another area in order to assess the wound. He came back with a list describing treatment they would do and an estimate of $196.00. Pricey, yes but I thought it wo... read more
