Found a lost dog last night about 8pm and came in as it was the closest vet to me open at that time to get the microchip scanned. Lovely lady came out scanned him in the car and gave the owners a call with no response. She gave me a bit of paper with the closest vet in Cannington that I could drop him and house him for the night as well as a microchip number on the back and some information about him to let the next vet know to make life easier for them! Hopefully the owner comes to pick him up!!
Dont do it unless there is no other option. Nearly $2k for a 20mm leg laceration to a cat! Prey on people with no alternative options.
I have now been here on 2 occasions and cannot express enough how amazing the staff is. Friendly, comforting, knowledgeable, empathetic, quick and swift, just amazing. My trouble causing dog came out happy and healthy every time
We took our puppy 'Lady' in when she was having an allergic reaction (hives all over). When we arrived a nurse met us as we came through the door and after a very brief introduction whisked Lady off to treatment. Ten or fifteen minutes later she bought her out of the emergency section having having given an anti-histamine injection. Lady was already looking a lot better.
