In my 68 years I have never witnessed any of my pets treated the way my nieces dog was treated. He had surgery after being attacked by another animal. The surgical area wasn't shaved or cleaned when he was released. He was leaving a trail of blood and when we asked about this were told the wound needs to drain. By the time we got home the car was covered in blood. On May 30, my dog Zeus was attacked and taken to Animal Clinic of Caroline around 9:30 AM. We were told he needed surgery, which was performed later that afternoon. When I picked him up around 2:30 PM, he could barely walk and was actively dripping blood. I expressed concern but was told the bleeding was normal. Once home, the bleeding continued and soaked through multiple pressure bandages. Love Dr. Hammet and his staff! They are always friendly and always squeeze me in if my babies have to be seen urgently. My kitties love it there! Always clean!
