We have been taking our two dogs to Dr. Gleason at the Animal Care Center for about 10 years. We have found the doctors and staff to be kind, caring and compassionate. One of our dogs has multiple, serious health issues. Dr Gleason has spent hours and hours researching alternative treatments and affordable medications to help keep our dog happy and healthy. i.e., A local favoIm filling a formal complaint with the TVMA about this clinic. Gleason should not be practicing. This clinic hires people with no veterinary skills or compassion for animals. In an emergency situation- i was told 4 times that the doctor needed to leave early. It was 4:15pm. They refused to do any diagnostics on a cat that had been closed in the door. From: Chris Gleason, DVM Ms. Singleton made an appointment to have her dog spayed. Most dog and cat owners that have a pet spayed are not interested in having puppies or kittens. In this case, as in all spay/neuter appts., the owner was asked to review and sign the one page spay/neuter authorization. I recommended this vet to my mother for their low-cost spays and neuters. When she came to pick up the cat, she was handed a bill for $87, rather than the $35 she was expecting according to their advertised low-cost price. When she asked what was wrong, she was told she had to have a coupon to receive the low-cost price. The coupon can be printed from the website; my mother would have brought it no problem when she came to pick up the cat if she had been aware!
