Needed an endocrinologist to help with some bloodwork concerns. The physician instead spent 10 minutes telling me he was upset because he bought his kids a movie with a bear on the box only to find out it was the movie "TED" and was not for children. When I went to the pharmacy to pickup medication they questioned it because he prescribed "bed wetting" medication, which I clearly did not need. Yes, finally an endocrinologist that listens to me and just doesn't give orders. I realize that I have type 1 diabetes and this will never change but in the past I was a patient of Dr. Vera in Daytona Beach. I would have to schedule a WHOLE DAY off of life for an appointment with his office. I would have to mentally prepare for this appointment.
